A Field Service Technician job is available with our client in Tyndall AFB, FL. In this role you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on company's products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. To be considered for this role, you will have an Associate's degree in a related field and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
* Responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying products
* Responsible for updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment.
* Builds and maintains effective relationships with customers and provides them with onsite training.
* Responsible for the safety and security of people or property
* Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles
* Performs aviation related duties
* Operates or supervises vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate's degree in a related field with 4 or more years of relevant experience
* A&P License Required
* A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
* Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
* Must have the ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
* Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques
* Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
* Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
* Ability to frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
* Ability to repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
* Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors
* Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes
* Must be willing to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
* Frequently exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
* Occasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials and frequently exposed to loud noises

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
* Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+
* Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
