Field Service Technician, Remote

To support AGRAMKOW’s growth in North America, we are looking for a highly motivated and driven Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing AGRAMKOW’s equipment at the customer sites, including installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repairs.  

You will collaborate closely with the clients and other team members to ensure high-quality service delivery to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical and mechanical service and repair of equipment, preferably in HVAC/R. 

Key Responsibilities
As a Field Service Technician, your overall responsibility is to deliver quality customer service and technical support to our customers on-site. Your responsibilities include:

• Travel to customer sites to perform installation, service and repair of AGRAMKOW’s equipment









• Commission, calibrate and service new or modified equipment to ensure full functionality according to specifications









• Communicate effectively with customers to understand issues and provide solutions









• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of equipment on site









• Review and analyze performance reports and documentation of malfunctioning to determine problem and solution









• Coordinate resolution with internal departments, such as engineering and customer service, to expedite repairs









• Document service activities, including parts used, labor hours and service reports









• Develop and conduct training for customers and team members to ensure the safe operation of the equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred


• 2+ years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Mechanical and electrical experience in a production/assembly line environment


• Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills; software skills are a plus


• Proficient in using DVM, O-Scope and instruments used in troubleshooting of electro schematics diagrams


• Solid PLC/automation skills


• Experience in the HVAC/R industry is an advantage


• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics


• Strong communication, math and computer skills (SAP experience preferred)


• Excellent customer service and communication skills


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record


• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed; expected travel is up to 20% the first year and up to 80% in the following years
