Are you ready to work on the next generation of rail technology? Siemens is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that supports the cutting-edge Siemens Charger locomotives and Venture single-level coaches. These state-of-the-art diesel-electric locomotives feature Tier 4, 4,400 HP engines and are transforming rail travel across the United States.

As part of our on-site team, you’ll collaborate directly with customers to ensure high performance and reliability during the warranty period. This hands-on role will train you to troubleshoot, repair, and implement field modifications, helping to drive customer satisfaction and product excellence.

Initial Location: Stockton, CA (first 6 months)
Relocation Required: Philadelphia, PA (after 6 months for the next project phase)

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Commission and support warranty operations for locomotives and coaches
• Troubleshoot and analyze mechanical and electrical failures
• Perform repairs using mechanical drawings, schematics, and circuit plans
• Use diagnostic software and laptops to assess onboard systems
• Identify root causes of issues and recommend corrective actions
• Document failures, repairs, and modifications in our database
• Implement Field Modifications (FMIs) to enhance product quality
• Communicate effectively with team members, site leads, and managers
• Handle parts returns and repairs (RMA process)
• Operate shop machinery and hand tools in a hands-on environment
• Follow all company and industry safety standards and procedures

To thrive in this role, you have:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Willingness to relocate after initial assignment
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Interest in learning and working with electrical and mechanical systems
• Hands-on mindset and a passion for problem-solving

This position is based in Stockton, Ca. We offer a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
