Job Description - Field Supervisor $24.50 - $25.75 per hour Overnight

Description

As a member of the Field Leadership Team, the Field Supervisor will oversee, direct and support all Field Associates in order that they provide clients with safe, timely and courteous transportation. Primary responsibility is to support and mentor field personnel to ensure their success.

EXPECTATIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  1. Apply coaching techniques by providing a role model to follow and giving engagement and direction to the trainee to apply what has been taught;
  2. Apply similar coaching techniques as seen “ad-hoc” in the field (not with a trainee in a training environment/role);
  3. Conduct in-class training as requested;
  4. Document all training covered, including the check off lists;
  5. Teach and reinforce department policies and procedures;
  6. Facilitate new hire training, participate in cross training and determine and administer additional training needs of personnel.
  7. Responsible for performance evaluations, including skills assessments and spot-checks for all personnel supervised according to established time schedules.
  8. Perform regular counseling sessions, which include reviews, commendations, disciplinary actions, and terminations under the direction of the Human Resources Department.
  9. Help create and promote programs and initiatives that assist in the company’s goals for high employee morale, productivity and minimization of employee dissatisfaction and turnover.
  10. Help create a supportive and positive work environment through regular work performance feedback, and respectful and professional interactions at all times.
  11. Proficiency with field electronic devices and company production applications including smart phones, tablets, mobile data terminals (MDT) and/or software, ePCR processes for ambulances and transport divisions (such as emsCharts, SyncPad, Scribe);
  12. Exemplify the department’s vision and mission;
  13. Recite the department’s mission statement;
  14. Name and describe the company’s Core Traits of a Field Leader;
  15. Full comprehension of all four pillars of the company and able to describe and explain to each; be able to explain them to any other employee;
  16. Name all of the current Safety In Motion mantras, describe them all, and promote them to all the employees; be safety detectives and “watch dogs” at all times.
  17. Understand how to read and explain driver behavior reports and metrics to any associate; understand the weight on the scorecard and what the “event rate” means;
  18. Be active in the safety program by providing suggestions for improving any type of safety.
  19. Remain in constant communication with the company electronic communication systems including, but not limited to e-mail and ePRO messaging.

20. Company e-mail must be checked every shift, and all unread messages processed accordingly.

21. Collaborate with other departments and main office to implement new business smoothly into existing operation.

22. Ability to perform all duties of each class of field personnel.

23. Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must have a passion for training.
  2. Must have an exemplary employee record and be considered “top talent” in accuracy, safety and attendance;
  3. Must be able to work aa shifts, days, and times as reasonably needed to ensure all field associates can be seen by field leadership for initial training and chronic evaluation;
  4. No physical or tangible barriers can exist to performing as a full field associate (except for health/medical reasons); no certifications may elapse;

 

Pay Transparency:

The above reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.

In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for clinical certification pay and/or shift differentials.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. All Field Supervisors must obtain Pediatric Day Care Clearance within 60 days;
  2. Must have Logisticare clearance (or other brokers as applicable);
  3. Must obtain a CDL Class C Driver’s license with P and S endorsements with 6 months;
  4. Shall become a Safekids.org car seat instructor and maintain certification;
  5. Shall become an MAVT instructor;
  6. Must be certified as SCT-qualified by completing the company’s SCT EMT program within 90 days;
  7. Must be 911 certified by obtaining applicable certifications within 90 days (including, but not limited to I-100, ICS700)
