Your next

calling:

As the

Field Systems Analyst , you will

support

all matters as it relates to the data that is generated and transmitted from the Toll Collection System (TCS) and the (ITS) Intelligent Transportation System. The Field Systems Analyst will assist in the day-to-day monitoring and support activities of the TCS and ITS to ensure timely and accurate processing of toll transactions; accurate collection of traffic data; efficient operation of the Control Room, provide managed lane customers with a predictable and reliable experience. Provide support on network maintenance activities and supervision of warehouse operations. The Field Systems Analyst also actively participates in the implementation and testing of systems, documenting results, and records / escalates system performance issues when necessary.
Functions key to

success:

Monitor and report on accurate transaction generation and traffic data at the roadside, timely data transmission and data validation
Track and analyze TCS and ITS key performance

metrics
Responsible for ITS Field Systems End to End systems planning and validation. Actively participate in integration test execution and user acceptance test execution when applicable for ITS network components
Act as a conduit between the ITS maintenance technical teams and tolling operational teams, including third party service providers as required
Ensure clear communication of system issues, workarounds and

resolution
Identification and documentation of potential exceptions, especially those which may result in customer facing issues. These exceptions may be identified via:

Analysis of system data and

trends;
Discussions with external service providers or analysis of external interface

data;

Discussions with the system maintenance

provider
Investigate exceptions and prepare briefings to management on issues, impacts and proposed resolutions.
Oversee analysis of failure trends, spare level forecasting, MTBF, Root cause analysis confirmation for inventory
Provide support and analysis of operational issues on back-end processes as it relates to TCS and ITS (minimizing technical support from third party company)
Implement and supervise analysis and procedures

necessary

to keep the

leakage

levels

within the expected range
Support Toll Operations during Disaster Recovery testing and Central System interventions & updates
Cooperate with Back Office System (BOS) and Toll Setting Module (TSM) development to define requirements according to business needs
Coordinate Field Systems network/configuration/software release related changes, notify stakeholders, and define validation plans
Participate in the roll-out of all system/network code and/or configuration changes into Production Environment; perform post release monitoring for all systems including TZC, MOMS and Dynac
Oversee access controls and define access permissions in MOMS, Dynac, and the Field Systems devices
Responsible for ensuring that network hardening, network vulnerabilities, network security, and change management based on recommendations of the cybersecurity team
Execute training sessions on system processes to familiarize team on sub-system processes and network product/component changes

What you bring to the

table:

You have worked hard to achieve success in your educational career, now put it to use. If you have a in

IT, computer science

or related field, you are halfway there with the needed
abilities for this position. Do you have at least

0 to 3+ years

of analysis experience within the tolling/ITS industry? If the answer is yes, you can check off another box. Project/Program Management experience preferred.

Finally, in a

technology-driven

world, it is important to know your way around a computer. For this role, it will be important to know the basics of the following:
Must be able to demonstrate computer proficiency, especially as to Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerBI, Visio, and Power Point and other PC based programs
Experience working with Oracle BI, Oracle Databases, Postgres SQL, Linux, R/ Python a plus

Our office is typically quiet with low noise levels; however, you will often hear employees laughing and talking amongst themselves. Effective communication will be key for this role and will require you to talk and hear others. You will probably spend a majority of your time sitting and/or walking around the office, whether to visit a co-worker or make it to a meeting on time and there may be occasional long hours to put in if you are diligently working to complete a project and finish a report. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus, as necessary to use a computer. Finally, occasional travel required, may include air travel.
