Job Opening: Field Technician

Our client is a leading provider of custom polyurethane reactive injection molding equipment. They are currently in need of a Field Technician who can bring together expertise in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and chemical fields to service, troubleshoot, install, and repair custom pumps and related equipment. This equipment plays a crucial role in the production of various products like car parts, cold box containers, and prefabricated walls, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, install, and repair custom pumps and related equipment.
• Travel to various locations for service and installation work.
• Work with highly technical, measurement and ingredient-specific processes.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Stay organized and manage tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with polyurethane manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of precision, custom systems that supply raw material mix for processing.
• Experience with controls, dispensers, flow meters, and similar equipment.
• Familiarity with chemicals used in polyurethane production such as isocyanates and catalysts.
• Electrical knowledge for adapting control systems (60Hz vs. 50Hz).
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
