Field Technician

About the Role

The Field Technician plays a critical hands-on role in delivering a high-quality, safe, and consistent roofing experience for our residential clients. This position performs inspections, small repairs, and service work while ensuring job sites meet Apple Roofing’s standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to be hands-on in the field to ensure every project reflects our commitment to Building a Sweeter Experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of roofing systems to assess conditions and identify potential issues.

• Perform repairs on a variety of roofing materials.

• Utilize diagnostic tools to pinpoint leaks and other roofing problems accurately.

• Assist in the installation of roofing systems and ensure adherence to safety practices.

• Document work performed, including detailed reports on inspections and repairs made.

• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their roofing needs.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and maintain quality standards.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and job sites to ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of roofing, construction, or related experience preferred

• Knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and basic repair techniques

• Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs independently

• Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work daily

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Clear communication with customers and teammates

• Basic technology skills for photos, documentation, and reporting
