Field Technician- Raleigh, North Carolina

Job Description

Supporting the Business Manager with collecting various Agri-samples (soil, leaves, water, etc.) according to standardised SOP’s as well as assistance in the warehouse and Liquid Mixing Plant.

Field Sampling and Data Collection

• Collect agricultural samples (soil, water, leaf, petiole, etc.) from designated farms according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).


• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of samples by following proper collection, labeling, storage, and transportation protocols.


• Capture precise location and farm data using Trimble GPS systems or MYFARMWEB™ CAPTURE tools.


• Record sample information accurately on physical and/or digital data sheets, ensuring traceability and compliance with company standards.


• Prepare and organize collected samples for dispatch to internal or external laboratories.


• Complete and submit all necessary documentation and forms associated with each sample.

Warehouse Assistance

• Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing agricultural products, materials, and equipment in the warehouse.


• Participate in regular stock counts and inventory management tasks.


• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.


• Safely transport products and materials to farms, clients, or depots as needed.


• Handle delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery.


• Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining good customer service and professional representation of the company.

Liquid Mixing Plant Support

• Assist in the preparation, measurement, and mixing of liquid agricultural products (e.g., biostimulants or foliar feeds) according to formulation specifications.


• Operate mixing equipment and follow strict safety, hygiene, and quality control protocols


• Support loading and packaging of finished products for delivery or warehouse storage.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required


• Associate degree or coursework in Agriculture or a related field is a plus

Skills and Capabilities

• Computer literate


• Able to lift and carry > 12 pounds comfortably


• Excellent attention to detail


• Comfortable with routine work but flexible enough to adjust to ad hoc situations


• Able to work under pressure


• Excellent communication skills


• Effective organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks


• Able to work in a team environment as well as on your own

Compensation: $18–$24 per hour
