Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Field Technician. The Field Technician will be responsible for performing field testing, data collection, and site investigations to support our geotechnical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in all aspects of their work.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct field testing and data collection activities in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

- Experience in construction monitoring, synthetic liner installation, soils and/or concrete testing preferred

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field crews to plan and execute fieldwork efficiently and effectively

- Monitor construction activities and provide on-site technical support and guidance to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications and design requirements

- Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including field reports, test results, and as-built drawings

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, geology, or a related field

- Previous experience in geotechnical fieldwork, soil testing, or construction materials testing is highly desirable

- Troxler nuclear density, ACI Level I concrete certifications preferred

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively

- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
