Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager

As a Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager at Route 128 Honda, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the best financing and insurance options tailored to their needs. You will work closely with the sales team to guide customers through the finance process, explain available products, and secure financing approvals to help close sales efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive finance products, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell finance and insurance products to customers in a professional and knowledgeable manner.


• Work directly with banks and financial institutions to secure credit approval and negotiate terms on behalf of customers.


• Explain finance agreements, warranties, service contracts, and other insurance products to customers clearly and accurately.


• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding financing and insurance practices.


• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth transaction processing and enhance overall customer satisfaction.


• Manage all documentation and record-keeping for finance and insurance transactions.


• Stay up-to-date with changes in finance programs, insurance products, and regulatory policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an F&I Manager or in a similar finance role within the automotive industry.


• Strong knowledge of automotive finance, insurance products, and credit processes.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work well under pressure and meet sales targets.


• Attention to detail and high level of integrity.


• Familiarity with relevant federal and state regulations governing automotive finance and insurance.


• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in Reading, MA.
