About the Position:

This role is pivotal in driving efficient and accurate financial operations across Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Customer and Supplier Reconciliations, and Supply Chain Cost Accounting. The Finance Associate will ensure the integrity of financial data related to procurement and sales transactions, support precise tracking of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and contributes to effective working capital management. The role involves hands-on execution of core accounting functions, including supporting in invoice processing, payment execution, collections follow-up and accounts reconciliations, safeguarding both operational efficiency and compliance with financial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage Core Finance Operations: Maintain accurate AR/AP ledgers, issue timely invoices, and reconcile accounts weekly to support smooth financial transactions and healthy cash flow.
2. Own Cash Flow Performance: Monitor collections and payments, manage aging reports, and flag risks early to optimize working capital and strengthen financial health.
3. Lead Cost Tracking & Analysis: Work with Supply Chain to capture and allocate all COGS components, ensuring accurate reporting and data-driven margin analysis.
4. Support Strategic Decision-Making: Build dynamic financial models and cost analysis tools to guide forecasting, pricing, and commercial strategy.
5. Ensure Accurate Closures: Collaborate with the Finance Director and external accountants to deliver timely, audit-ready month-end closes and financial reporting.
6. Enhance Tech-Enabled Finance: Partner with Tech and Ops to streamline processes and improve financial data flows through systems and tools.
7. Oversee Fund Operations: Support the Revolving Inventory Finance Fund with day-to-day disbursements, repayments, due diligence, and compliance monitoring.
8.  Champion Financial Integrity & Compliance: Ensure full alignment with tax laws, local regulations, and internal controls while contributing to financial innovation and scale.

Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 per annum
