Finance Associate - Finance & Restructuring Practice Group

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Associate with 3–6 years of post-law school experience to join the Finance & Restructuring Practice Group of a nationally recognized law firm. This opportunity is available in multiple office locations across the U.S. and offers a hybrid work model (3 days onsite per week).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, with a focus on representing financial institutions and borrowers in a range of commercial finance transactions, including loan originations and real estate financings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, and related legal documents
• Advise clients on covenant compliance and loan administration
• Lead due diligence processes and coordinate with specialist teams
• Provide strategic guidance throughout all phases of commercial finance transactions
• Deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 3–6 years of experience in corporate finance or commercial finance transactions
• Prior experience representing financial institutions and borrowers
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• Ability to manage multiple assignments independently and efficiently
• Must be admitted to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction or eligible for prompt admission

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with real estate financings
• Exposure to restructuring or distressed financing transactions is a plus
• Experience advising private credit funds and/or public and private companies

Salary & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $180,000 – $315,000, commensurate with experience and location
