Finance Director

Capitol Chevrolet, Austin’s #1 Volume Chevy Dealer is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead our high-performing Finance Team.

The Finance Director will oversee all aspects of the dealership’s finance and insurance operations, ensuring profitability, compliance, and an exceptional customer experience. You will manage a team of finance managers and work closely with sales leadership to drive growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach the Finance & Insurance (F&I) team to achieve monthly and annual goals.


• Maximize product penetration, gross profit, and customer satisfaction.


• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations.


• Partner with lenders to secure competitive financing and lease programs.


• Ensure all deals are funded promptly and contracts are error-free.


• Collaborate with the GM and department leaders to support dealership profitability targets.

Qualifications:

• 
  10+ years of automotive finance experience required (at least 5 years in a director-level role).


• Chevrolet or GM dealership experience strongly preferred.


• Proven track record in leading high-volume finance operations.


• Deep knowledge of compliance regulations and lender relationships.


• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.


• Results-driven with a focus on team performance and customer satisfaction.
