Finance Head

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Head to lead the organization’s finance and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cash flow and treasury management, compliance, financial reporting, and overall financial strategy. Candidates with experience in the energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure sector will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall finance and accounting functions of the organization.


• Develop and oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.


• Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury operations, and fund requirements.


• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards.


• Oversee internal and external audits and strengthen internal control systems.


• Manage banking relationships, fund management, and financing activities.


• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.


• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.


• Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.


• Lead and mentor the finance team and ensure effective team performance.


• Utilize ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.


• Support strategic decision-making, investment planning, and project finance activities.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; or MBA Finance / MBS.


• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.


• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial/leadership position.


• Experience in Energy, Manufacturing, or Infrastructure sectors is preferred.


• Strong knowledge of NFRS, taxation, and financial reporting.


• Sound understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.


• Experience in banking, fund management, and project finance will be an added advantage.
