Job Description Summary:

The Finance Leader will drive financial performance and profitability for the joint venture ownership by aligning financial strategies with business objectives. This role involves setting financial goals, overseeing key financial processes, and providing strategic insights to optimize cost, fulfillment, quality, and cash flow. The Finance Leader will leverage expertise to solve complex financial challenges, execute critical initiatives, and contribute to both short- and long-term business success. This position requires a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, financial operations, and commercial markets.

• Develop and execute financial strategies that align with business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
• Deliver financial insights to evaluate business performance, identify risks, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting by detecting and preventing misrepresentation, omissions, or errors.
• Establish and enforce strong financial controls, processes, and reporting structures to enhance transparency and compliance.
• Analyze financial statements to identify material variances, assess key business trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Oversee capital allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to align resources with business priorities.
• Identify, interpret, and implement new accounting standards to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
• Partner with business leaders and site management to drive key initiatives, optimize financial performance, and support strategic objectives.

Work Environment:

• Able to work in area where there is moderate noise intensity (85 – 89.9 dBa).
• May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels). 
• Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior finance leadership role (e.g., Controller, Finance Director, or similar).
• US Person Status (see Employment Eligibility)
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Master’s degree (MBA) or CPA/CMA certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with a deep understanding of cost accounting, financial controls, and operational finance.
• Demonstrated success in leading process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and financial transformation projects.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and capital allocation.
• Proficiency in financial systems (ERP, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive continuous improvement.
