We’re looking for someone who not only knows how to manage the numbers but is eager to help shape the business. You’ll be supported by our outgoing Finance Leader, who has been instrumental in our success and will remain connected to the business as a mentor and strategic partner. This is an ideal role for someone with manufacturing experience in the $5–15M range who wants to grow into a broader executive role while being part of a team that believes culture and operational excellence go hand in hand.
What You’ll Own
As the Finance Leader, you’ll be a core member of our leadership team responsible for the financial integrity of Deneen Pottery. You will lead all accounting and finance functions, while also providing strategic oversight of HR and Information Systems. You’ll ensure compliance, build and sustain culture, optimize systems, and help drive growth by providing the financial insights that inform key business decisions.
Human Resources
• Lead our HR Generalist & oversee HR policies and compliance
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefits, and employee relations
• Lead compensation planning, benefit strategy, and negotiation, with a financial lens
Leadership & Strategic Planning
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Leadership Team
• Contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and operational excellence
• Mentor and guide Accounting, HR, and IT team members
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration
Information Technology Systems
• Lead our FT Systems Developer strategy with business goals in partnership with external support
• Manage technology budgets and investment planning
• Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity awareness, and support systems development (e.g., FileMaker ERP)
