Finance Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Officer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Nepalese tax regulations, experience handling audits, and proficiency in Tally ERP.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accounting records in Tally ERP.


• Prepare and maintain accounting vouchers, supporting documents, and proper financial documentation.


• Ensure timely tax compliance, including VAT, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings.


• Handle tax authority inspections, tax audits, and special audits.


• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closing.


• Review financial and audit reports to identify potential financial risks.


• Monitor project finances, budgets, and expenditures while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.


• Provide financial compliance and risk management recommendations to management.


• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities as required.


• Maintain effective internal financial controls and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.


• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.


• Strong knowledge of Nepalese taxation and statutory compliance.


• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and MS Excel.


• Experience in handling audits, financial reporting, and project accounting will be an advantage.


• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
