Position Purpose:
The Project Leader supports the Merchandising Services teams in delivering a consistent, customer‑focused in‑store experience across all saleable spaces. This role helps bring The Home Depot’s stores to life by supporting the design, planning, and execution of displays, fixtures, signage, and shelf layouts that make it easy for customers to shop and engage with our products.
A key responsibility of this role is evaluating the cost and value of in‑store projects. The Project Leader partners with cross‑functional teams to assess initiatives such as display updates, fixture changes, or layout enhancements, ensuring projected sales impact and customer benefits justify the investment.
The Project Leader also supports project management and execution by building accurate financial forecasts, tracking spend throughout the year, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role provides visibility into how dollars are planned and spent, helping the business allocate resources effectively while delivering meaningful value to both customers and the store.
