Finance Supervisor

At John Mini Distinctive Landscapes, we make places beautiful. We are recognized as a leader in indoor and outdoor landscaping and holiday design. We design, install and maintain landscapes all over the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Due to company growth, we are hiring a Finance Supervisor to oversee accounting and financial reporting while leading our Finance team based out of our Congers, NY headquarters. This is a full-time role with opportunity for long-term career development and advancement — we’ve been around for 50 years, and we are just getting started.

The Finance Supervisor is meticulous and highly organized, ensuring timeliness and precision throughout day-to-day functions, including:

• Preparation of monthly financial reporting


• Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and account reconciliations


• Assisting with payroll processing, as needed


• Working closely with the Director of Finance to coordinate internal and external audits


• Overseeing the Finance team, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

You have:

• A BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Finance role


• A strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger structure


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office


• Experience overseeing and delegating work to a team
