Financial Accountant.

• Manage general ledger activities, including bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies.
  


• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
  


• Maintain and reconcile petty cash, imprest accounts, cash counts, cheque counts, and fund utilization reports.
  


• Prepare monthly financial statements, actuals reports, variance analysis, and detailed schedules in compliance with IFRS and group policies.
  


• Maintain and monitor the fixed asset register, including acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, and periodic physical verification.
  


• Review and approve payment documents and store requisitions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and budget compliance.
  


• Coordinate internal and external audit requirements by preparing necessary documentation and resolving audit queries.
  


• Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and compliance with statutory, regulatory, and group financial reporting requirements.
