Our client, a global Architecture and Design Firm, is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team in Akron, OH.
The financial Analyst will work with 5-6 project managers concurrently to support projects in various phases of design and construction. Develop, implement, and maintain external and internal cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts. Report accurate updates to cost reports or forecasts. Responsible for ensuring quality checks and inspections on project control deliverables. Ability to compare schedules to financial data to ensure consistency of project timeline. Ability to integrate schedule data and other data sources in Excel via formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc. Analyze project control reports, present findings and provide recommendations to the project controls team. Ensure budget tracking against Purchase Orders or Subcontracts. Responsible for the review of upstream (prime contract) / downstream (PO & subcontract) change orders. Manage integrated data from one program to another. Responsible for ensuring quality checks and inspections on project control deliverables. Serves as a point of contact for technical questions from APM's, PM's, Lead Engineers, or Construction staff. All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business from an accredited program. A minimum of 4 years related experience. Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically and make quick and sound decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience with SAP preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel. A valid driver's license is required.
