Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Sussex, WI
General Scope of Job
The Financial Analyst will provide financial reporting and analysis to enhance decision making as part of the Pregis' Automated Mailing & Bagging business. This individual will be a key player in supporting the Finance Director and Divisional Controller. Responsible for performance reporting, analysis of critical business drivers, and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate for this position is an aggressive self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and can prioritize, problem solve, and pivot quickly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform month end close activities including preparation of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with creation of annual, quarterly, and monthly financial forecasts that drive key business decisions
Provide financial analysis support to senior leadership on key business components and market environment.
Lead and assist in the continuous improvement, development, modification, and implementation of reporting systems as necessary.
Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Understand and comply with policies and procedures
Monitor and ensure financial compliance

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
2-3 years progressive financial experience
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel a must
Experience with SAP a plus
Strong analytical skills and communication skills
Willingness to work extended hours as necessary
Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency
Experience in process improvements with quantifiable results to measure effectiveness.
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
