Financial Analyst - Contracts and Vendors - Unlimited Growth Potential

The Contract Financial Analyst will refine the CCNC Vendor and Contract Management Policies and Procedures and support the Accounting/Finance teams. Under the direction of the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, this role is the focal point of controls around vendor onboarding, performance monitoring and vendor spend and financial analysis.

• Support accounting & finance teams with collection of onboarding documents, translation of contract financial terms and payment coding suggestions.
• Support accounting & finance teams with month & year end accruals and vendor payment validation.
• Identify and track budget implications while working with business owners to understand the need, duration, and cost of new vendors.
• Assist in resolution of service and financial issues, escalating higher impact issues to management.
• Assist in the execution of vendor engagements, ensuring effective contract management and performance to service targets. Including but not limited to following up with business owners on performance, tracking targets and deliverables and working with business owners and Finance on spending trends and budget implications.
• Identify the need for monthly/quarterly/annual meetings with Business Owners depending on the risk level of contract to assess operations of vendors against agreed service levels.
• Proactively identify expiration timeframes, notify business owner and/or vendor in advance to help coordinate appropriate course of action.
• Coordinate with business owners to identify best practices and alignment of contracts to accomplish CCNC’s mission while operating within the established budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance with 2-5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting and/or Vendor Management
• Healthcare background preferred.

• Strong analytic skills required
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Detail oriented; highly organized
• Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self‐motivated
• Ability to manage high level of workload and meet deadlines

• Routinely there may be some minor physical inconveniences or discomforts in the work setting, including sitting for moderate periods of time
• Must be able to utilize office equipment, computer, keyboard, and phone with or without assistive devices
• Repetitive wrist motion and occasional lifting/carrying of up to 25 pounds
