Position Description
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Customer Rebates team as part of our North America Finance Shared Services team. The role is responsible for executing and managing select finance activities to support the Community Pharmacy and Health segment of PSaS. The activities include month end close, journal entry and account reconciliation preparation, variance analysis, internal reporting, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret customer agreements and ensure payments are contractually compliant
Process payments and reporting to customers for assigned rebates
Prepare and analyze monthly reporting for stakeholders and business units
Assist stakeholders with monthly P&L analysis for customer rebate expense
Research and resolve issues related to customer rebate payments
Identify opportunities and implement solutions for process and profitability improvements
Ensure all accruals / rebate calculations are updated for month end close processes
Perform month-to-month variance analysis including research, explanation, and resolution of variances
Identify and communicate best practices and/or opportunities to strengthen controls
Assist with process re-design to facilitate rebate system enhancements and automation of the current process
Perform detailed analysis and review of

processes/transactions

with a strict adherence to GAAP, Company and SOX compliance and policies
Perform, research, and resolve monthly reconciliation of specified general ledger accounts
Use the various McKesson systems (BO, SAP, etc.) to extract data for purposes of rebate accruals and analysis
Special Projects and analysis as required
Minimum Requirements
2+ years of accounting or relevant experience
Critical Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking and problem resolution skills
Strong experience creating and analyzing large amounts of data
Proven ability to recognize best practices and process improvements
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Customer-focused with commitment to provide business partners with excellent support
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel experience including

VLOOKUP/Index(Match),

Pivot tables, etc.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of US GAAP principles and internal control environments
Additional Skills and Knowledge
Ability to engage and influence multi-level staff up to executive management
Strong financial acumen and attention to detail/accuracy
Experience with Tableau or other dashboarding solution is preferred
Ability to navigate through complex issues and interpret and transform data into recommendations to senior leadership
1+ years of experience with ERP system (SAP, JDE, etc.)
Public Accounting experience is preferred, not required
Experience working in a team environment or with customers.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent number of years of experience
Physical Requirements
General office demands.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position

$71,700 - $119,500
