Financial Business Analyst - Join a Leading Company

The Financial Business Analyst plays a key role in guiding financial decisions by supervising pricing and costing activities. The responsibilities include performing return on investment analysis, delivering impromptu financial analysis, managing budgets and KPI reporting. It is pivotal for the professional in this role to effectively communicate analytical results to a wide-ranging audience, potentially including executive members. Essential Functions

Provide operational analysis support to business units to enhance productivity and efficiency

Scrutinize financial performance and collaborate with operations team for necessary interventions

Detect and implement process improvements for optimal performance

Construct tools, systems, and reports to present vital financial and operational information to the executive team, alongside actionable recommendations concerning strategic and tactical matters

Perform regular calculations and analysis of multiple financial parameters and operational KPIs for monthly publication

Work closely with leadership members to examine trends, costs, revenues, and profit margins

Foster collaboration among different levels of the Finance department and other organizational personnel

Develop presentations and on-demand analysis for the senior management team

Educate non-finance (operations) team members on vital processes and corporate prerequisites

Competencies & Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in advancing roles as a finance analyst or finance business partner

Ability to prioritize accuracy and maintain attention to detail

Proficiency in ERP software, preferably well-versed with Epicor P21

Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, cost accounting, budgets, and statistical analysis

Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, mastery of Excel (i.e., VLOOKUP/Index Match, SUMIFS, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint

Adept at adhering to strict deadlines

Highly skilled in financial analysis and modeling, with proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Demonstrated experience in working with intricate data & predictive modeling

Familiarity with data visualization (Power BI, etc.) and predictive modeling is advantageous

Comprehension of Profit & Loss and balance sheet dynamics.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Related Field
