Financial Controller

Job Details:

Our client is a well-established family owned business seeking a highly motivated Controller to add to their team!

Role:

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of a company. Their main role is to ensure that the company's financial processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis for management and stakeholders. This includes profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budgeting reports.
Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets, and monitor performance against these plans.
Manage the company's cash flow and liquidity, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing cash utilization.
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and procurement. Ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner, and that financial policies and procedures are followed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
8+ Years in Accounting or Finance industry preferred.
Highly proficient in Excel and SAGE Software required.
