Financial Controller - Energetic Workplace

The Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations within a manufacturing organization. Responsibilities span various financial aspects, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective management.

Key Duties:

• Financial Oversight: Manage financial statements, including balance sheets, invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Compile financial reports based on these statements.
• Implement policies and procedures for financial reporting.
• Collaboration with Upper Management: Work closely with senior executives to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Monitor liabilities that need to be settled by year-end.
• Compliance and Financial Health: Ensure the company complies with financial regulations.
• Review financial statements to assess the corporation’s financial health.
• Payroll Monitoring: Oversee payroll documents to ensure accurate employee compensation.
• Consolidated Financial Statements: Overseeing the preparation, analysis, and distribution of the company’s consolidated financial statements.
• Accounting Close Processes: Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, including variance analysis.
• Supervision: Direct supervision of the accounting team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting.
• CPA background preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven supervisory skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Adaptability to learn and use other software tools as needed.
• Strong process improvement skills.
