The Regional Controller is responsible for leading, reviewing and monitoring the accounting and financial activity of designated subsidiaries.
*This position can be located in Poland or Romania.
*Please note, the internal title for this role is Controller.
Guide the local accounting teams to meet timeline and accuracy, including review of the ongoing work.
Monthly analytical review of the financial results as well as B/S, of the relevant subsidiaries and related intercompany balances.
Month closing process.
Verify compliance with corporate accounting procedures and policies
Preparing and reviewing annual financial statements & periodic tax return and VAT filings of the relevant subsidiaries
Ensuring detailed accounting documentation in supporting legal, regulatory, and audit
Requirements.Supporting the budgeting process and monitoring the actuals
Signing bank orders (AP & payroll) according to the company’s procedures
Working with the external auditors.
Working with global teams and stakeholders
Ad-Hoc projects
Required education and experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting and Economics/business
Big4 graduate
Experience with Inventory management
4–8 years of proven experience in a similar role within global organizations
Fluent English - written and spoken
Required qualification
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team player
Experience in the Pharma industry– an advantage
Experience working in a multiregional organization – an advantage
