******** Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
Oversee Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP accounting
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of financial statements and analysis of variances
Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
Provide guidance and support to other departments regarding financial matters
Manage the general ledger accounting function, including reconciliations and journal entries
Supervise the payroll process and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
Requirements
:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
Proven experience as a Controller or similar role
Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and standards
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, ERP)
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Solid understanding of corporate accounting processes, including general ledger accounting, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable
Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred qualifications:
Someone with inventory management experience
Tangible accounting experience (5 yrs minimum)
CPA license or background, who can file commercial taxes
Experience building up balance sheets, reconciling the entire company, etc
High level, experienced candidates
Compensation
:
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 annually
