Orthodontic Financial Coordinator – Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Financial Coordinator to manage patient financial accounts and support the office’s billing processes. This role involves explaining treatment costs, setting up payment plans, processing payments, and working closely with patients to ensure clarity and satisfaction. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and committed to delivering excellent patient service.

Responsibilities:

• Explain treatment costs, payment options, and financial policies to patients
   
• Set up and manage patient payment plans
   
• Process payments, insurance co-pays, and outstanding balances
   
• Communicate with patients regarding billing questions and account status
   
• Collaborate with insurance coordinators and clinical staff to ensure accurate billing
   
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports
   

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dental or orthodontic financial coordination preferred
   
• Strong communication and customer service skills
   
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
   
• Comfortable working with numbers and billing software
