Patient Financial Counselor | Temp-to-Hire

Fully on-site | Edison, NJ area

Monday - Friday | 8:30am to 5:00pm

- Maintain patient accounts by verifying and updating personal and financial information
- Process payments, refunds, and adjustments accurately and in a timely manner
- Review and resolve billing discrepancies or issues with insurance claims
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients regarding their accounts
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial processes
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting as needed

Skills:

Healthcare experience
Charity Care experience
Experience with Epic, Availity or Navinet a plus
Customer service
Empathy
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve billing discrepancies effectively
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
