Financial Investment Consultant

We are seeking a Financial Investment Consultant in Portland, OR with a competitive compensation structure, including a base salary range of $85,000–$120,000 plus performance-based payouts. This full-time position requires 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or investment consulting. The Financial Investment Consultant will join an established independent investment advisory firm serving clients throughout Portland, OR. This role focuses on portfolio management, client relationship development, and long-term financial planning strategies for individuals and families in the Portland market. Candidates must be properly registered and licensed to provide investment advisory services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a book of business by delivering comprehensive investment and portfolio management services in Portland, OR.
• Develop customized financial plans aligned with clients’ retirement, tax, and wealth preservation goals.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and rebalance investment allocations based on market conditions and client objectives.
• Maintain ongoing client communication through meetings, calls, and performance updates.
• Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and state regulatory requirements.
• Utilize firm-provided marketing resources to expand client relationships in the Portland area.
• Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure accurate documentation and account servicing.

• 5+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor, Investment Consultant, or Wealth Manager.
• Active FINRA registrations (e.g., Series 7, Series 63/65 or Series 66) required.
• Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and financial planning strategies.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Self-motivated with strong business development skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
