About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Financial Planner / Service Advisor to provide comprehensive financial planning and ongoing client service within an established wealth management environment.

This is primarily a non-sales financial planning role focused on building long-term client relationships, developing retirement and investment plans, analyzing financial strategies, and supporting clients across a broad range of planning needs. The ideal candidate is client-focused, detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about financial and retirement planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned wealth management clients.
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans and personalized recommendations.
  • Prepare and monitor retirement income plans and retirement planning analyses.
  • Prepare investment portfolio summaries and asset allocation analyses.
  • Conduct regular client review meetings and proactively address client needs.
  • Analyze financial planning reports and client-specific financial scenarios.
  • Use tax planning tools to evaluate tax situations and potential strategies.
  • Analyze insurance, annuity, life insurance, and long-term care options.
  • Handle customized financial planning analyses and client requests.
  • Collaborate with Lead Advisors and team members on client cases.
  • Maintain accurate client information, follow-ups, and planning documentation.
  • Identify appropriate additional planning or investment opportunities for existing clients when applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with clients as a Financial Planner.
  • Series 65 or Series 66 license required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning and retirement planning.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commitment to client service and financial planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) certification preferred.
  • Candidates without the CFP designation must be willing to obtain it within 2 years of hire.
  • Life Insurance License preferred; must be obtained within 6 months of hire if not already held.
  • Experience with tax planning, investment analysis, retirement income planning, or wealth management.

Work Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:45 AM–5:00 PM
Friday: 8:45 AM–2:30 PM, assuming high-priority work is completed

This is an in-person position in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Candidates must be able to relocate to or reliably work from Buffalo Grove before starting.
