Panelmatic was founded in 1957 in Youngstown, OH to serve manufacturing industries with the design and building of custom electrical, instrument, and pneumatic control panels. Our business has sufficiently grown over the years to support expansion for our clients. We have produced control packages for many of America's top corporations in the data center, utility, chemical, environmental, food, pulp and paper, rubber, petroleum, pharmaceutical, glass, and metals. We also deliver equipment for use worldwide. Our rigorous methodology ensures compliance with domestic and international standards. We can meet the needs of our diverse clientele from start to finish through sales, design, fabrication, testing, and delivery.

Job Summary:

The Director of FP&A will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Panelmatic. The role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and all analysis activities. This role requires advanced strategic thinking and communication skills due to collaboration with senior leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong direct past experience and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Job Duties:

  • Overseeing the development of financial models for budgeting and forecasting
  • Analyzing current financial performance against historical data and budgets
  • Scrutinizing and distributing weekly key performance indicators to senior management
  • Managing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Identifying and presenting financial data and strategies for financial optimization using trends
  • Leading the annual budgeting process including capital expenditure planning
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure financial strategies align with business objectives
  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning
  • Other duties as assigned by CFO


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field required

·        Five plus years of relevant experience required

·        Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting required

·        Live or be willing to relocate to the greater Houston area required

·        Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel required

·        Strong analytical and organizational skills required

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

·        Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines required

·        Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required

·        Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 25 pounds or more required

·        Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk for four plus hours at a time required

·        Alignment with company core values required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a PE backed company preferred
  • Professional certification such as CFA, CMA, or CPA preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing or project-based companies preferred
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically Infor CSI, and financial reporting software preferred
  • Experience leading and mentoring financial teams preferred
