Job Description - Financial Reporting Sr Accountant

Description
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing role
  • Certified Public Accountant (or equivalent) or on a path to obtain CPA, preferred
  • Working or applied knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with IFRS, with the ability to independently research, interpret, and apply accounting guidance to routine transactions and reporting matters
  • General understanding of regulatory financial reporting (statements) requirements
  • Strong attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy
  • Applied knowledge of accounting (e.g., Oracle, FCCS) and/or financial reporting software (e.g., Workiva, Blackline) and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Power BI
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
