Financial Representative – Employee Benefits
Mount Joy, PA

- Build on an established book of business while seeking new opportunities for growth
- Work with small to mid-sized companies to design benefits packages that meet the needs of their organization and their employees
- Develop long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients
- Maintain knowledge of employee benefits, industry trends, and carrier's products & services
- Educate & advise clients on all compliance topics, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s, and Health Care Reform
- Deliver educational presentations to companies, community organizations, and other potential clients on issues related to employee benefits and Medicare supplement plans

As part of our team of Financial Representatives, this position will serve as a strategic resource for small businesses designing their employee benefits package. This is an ideal position for a focused, growth-minded, customer-service-oriented individual with a background in finance, banking, insurance, sales, employee benefits, business, or human resources interested in building a financial services career.
Our Ideal Employee Benefits Financial Representative:
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, employee benefits, finance, insurance, banking, or human resources is a plus, but we are willing to train the right motivated candidate. A college degree in business, finance, marketing, or another related field is preferred.
- Licensing: You must have a PA Life & Health Insurance license before starting or be willing to obtain one before the start date. Also willing to complete continuing education credits and compliance requirements to maintain your license.
- Software/Technology Skills: Proficient with Windows-based software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM software, and familiar with benefits admin systems.
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Respectful, diplomatic, & professional in your interactions with others. Able to explain complex financial/benefits concepts in an easily understood manner.
- Proactive: Self-disciplined and demanding of yourself; an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solver: Someone who isn't afraid to ask for help but isn't helpless; takes the initiative to find answers and cultivates a continuous improvement mindset.
- Service-oriented: Motivated to build long-term relationships with clients, uncovering their needs, and finding solutions.
