Financial Service Representative

We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Service Representative. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional member service while handling a variety of financial transactions and account-related functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to the Credit Union’s service standards and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide informed, prompt, and accurate service to all members and associates by greeting and waiting on members in a courteous and professional manner.
  
• Open new accounts, certificates of deposit, and other Credit Union products and services in accordance with federal regulations, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and processed in a timely manner.
  
• Perform daily tasks and responsibilities with minimal errors and in alignment with established branch and operational standards.
  
• Actively cross-sell and promote Credit Union products and services based on member needs to enhance member relationships.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries effectively, ensuring timely communication and accurate follow-up.
  
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations.
  
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming work environment and uphold a businesslike appearance.
  

• Prior experience in a financial institution or customer service role preferred.
  
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
  
• Proficient in the use of standard office equipment and computer applications.
