Financial Services Representative | Mental Health

Description

CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit agency, is looking for a full-time Financial Services Representative (FSR) for Salem County. Under the direction of the Director of Financial Services, the FSR provides financial management services to clients with a mental health diagnosis. 

HIGHLIGHTS

• Educate clients with money management, setting financial goals, tracking credit score, enrolling in savings programs.
• Aid clients in obtaining the required paperwork to open financial service accounts.
• Maintain client trust ledger and checkbook.
• Follow-up with clients on a quarterly basis regarding their financial goals.

Full-time | Benefit Eligible (Medical, free DMO dental & free vision) including 6 weeks PTO & 11 Holidays

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s in a financial discipline OR
• High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years’ experience in financial services.
• Financial literacy skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.  
• Strong bookkeeping skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Office products, as well as general computer literacy.
• Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Valid NJ Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who use their own life experience dealing with mental health/substance use issues to inspire and support others.
