Financial Specialist

Under the supervision of the Clinic Director, the Financial Specialist will:

• Conducts verification of financial documents and obtaining NTBHA financial approval if necessary.


• Completes verification of insurance eligibility upon intake and routinely thereafter.


• Will obtain consents, request for records, scan documents in Electronic Health Record, set appointments, do monthly reports, back-up support for Admin.


• Positions and other clerical duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.


• Must be highly organized with multi-tasking skills and the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost care. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

  Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and orally with a diverse population of clientele, as well as with other service providers.

  Must be able to establish and maintain a professional rapport with internal/external pharmacies, clientele, family members and other service providers.

  
  


• Must have working computer skills including MS Word and Excel.


• Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record.


• Must have personal automobile liability insurance as required by the state of Texas.  

Schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm
