Responsibilities of the Financial Systems Analyst:
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize financial data effectively and facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, hours, timekeeping & receipts, to provide insights into the firm's financial performance.
Conduct daily reconciliation of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by senior management or other stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in financial reporting and analysis, incorporating new methodologies and tools to enhance reporting processes.
Preferred Skills of the Financial Systems Analyst:
Bachelor's Degree
Strong proficiency in Power BI and best data visualization practices.
Prior experience with financial analysis.
Experienced with Office 365 applications and SharePoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills of the Financial Systems Analyst:
Experience within the legal industry or professional services sector.
Developing and maintaining SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports for financial analysis and reporting purposes.
Experience creating SQL queries, stored procedures, and table joins.
