BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting for the Financial Transformation – FAO role supporting USTRANSCOM JFOSS.

Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation.

What will you do

Support Federal accounting research, account reconciliations, audit responses, and transaction analysis under the direction of senior staff.

Responsibilities

Research Federal accounting standards, OMB circulars (e.g., A-136), and technical guidance under the direction of senior staff.

Perform basic account reconciliations, variance analyses, and tie-outs on trial balances and financial statement line items.

Assist in compiling audit response packages, pulling sample documentation, and tracking auditor requests.

Analyze routine transactions and journal entries to support accounting adjustments and methodology reviews.

Contribute research and drafting support for practice presentations, application guidance, and internal knowledge assets.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.

Interim Secret security clearance or higher.

Ability to research Federal accounting standards, OMB circulars such as A-136, and technical guidance under senior staff direction.

Ability to perform basic account reconciliations, variance analyses, and tie-outs on trial balances and financial statement line items.

Ability to compile audit response packages, retrieve sample documentation, and track auditor requests.

Ability to analyze routine transactions and journal entries to support accounting adjustments and methodology reviews.

Research and drafting skills to support practice presentations, application guidance, and internal knowledge assets.
