The Details

Leadership & Team Management

· Lead, motivate, and support Finishing and Shipping team members to meet established goals.

· Foster a positive culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

· Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring responsibilities are clearly understood and executed.

· Provide coaching, training and development opportunities for employees to enhance skills and grow within the company.

· Recognize and celebrate successes while reinforcing Goebel’s core values.

Administrative Skills

· Basic knowledge of ERP system and warehouse management tools including handheld scanners

· Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite

· Process UPS and other shipments, including hazardous

· Complete forms for shipping area, including packing lists, Waybills etc.

· Perform WIP to Finished Goods and other transactions in ERP system

· Manage inventory of shipping and finishing supplies

· Complete purchase requisitions when required

· Collaborate with outside vendors and suppliers as needed

· Collaborate with Field Services to maintain inventory of installation tools and fill tool requests

Work Area & Organization

· Maintain clean and organized work spaces

· Organize and prioritize work orders

· Develop, document and maintain finish recipe records

· Coordinate schedules and loads with other members of the shop supervision team

· Attend and contribute to Production meetings

· Organize and maintain warehouse space

· Conduct final inspections to ensure products meet the company’s quality standards and are accurately labeled and packaged in compliance with shipping requirements.

· Generate and verify packing/load lists to confirm all outbound shipments are complete and accurate.

Safety & Compliance

· Promote a safe working environment.

· Support all company and plant safety initiatives while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA and company regulations.

· Monitor safety devices, equipment, and housekeeping practices to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.

· Review work for quality and compliance with requirements

· Understand, follow and promote processes and procedures

· Manage proper storage and handling of hazardous materials

· Conduct and document required safety and environmental inspections

Requirements:

· Knowledge of product chemistry and compatibility

· Willingness to grow and learn in a collaborative environment

· Proficient in measuring and mathematical calculations

· Ability to successfully train staff

· Preferred Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License and DOT health card

· Ability to read architectural and shop drawings

· Possess good analytical skills with a strong attention to detail

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

· Previous leadership experience

Physical Requirements

While this role primarily focuses on leadership and oversight, it requires regular presence in a production environment:

• Frequent standing and walking on the production floor
• Regular bending, stooping and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.; team or assisted lifts for heavier items.
