Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility is rapidly growing, and we are seeking a first shift Finishing Production Supervisor for the Coach and Light Rail manufacturing operations. The Production Supervisor would be focusing on safety, quality, and productivity in paint application, gluing, and mechanical assembly.
What your day may look like:
- Lead Coach and Light Rail manufacturing operations in safety, quality, and productivity in the application(s) of paint, gluing and mechanical assembly.
- Reviews production schedules, planning, material, and manpower resources.
- Assigns employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality, attain, and improve output requirements.
- Support the design review effort for engineering changes and implement changes in the most efficient manner.
- Execute the respective Production Schedule and develop and implement recovery schedules when appropriate.
- Monitor and maintain a safe work environment, including corrective actions to minimize safety related incidents.
- Strong analytical skills, communication, and leadership skills.
What will make you successful in this role:
- 4+ years of proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities combined with strong organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven hands-on knowledge and thorough understanding of adhesive bonding processes applicable to Floor station and Coach mechanical assembly.
- Proven hands-on knowledge and thorough understanding of Coating processes applicable to Light Rail and Coaches.
- A history of driving projects in a very dynamic low volume start-up production environment.
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
- Advanced skills in MS Office.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Required travel: 5%

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
This position is located in Sacramento, CA. The salary range for this position is $98,300-$120,000 per year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
