Fire Alarm Designer

Job Description:

We seek a skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Designer with expertise in Revit to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in fire alarm system design, preferably focusing on mission-critical facilities. We encourage you to apply if you have experience with Notifier, VESDA, and Revit/BIM and hold a NICET II or higher.

Key Responsibilities:

Design fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Develop and create accurate design plans using Revit or Autodesk, including 3D diagrams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements.

Maintain high attention to detail throughout the design process.

Communicate design concepts effectively to clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements in fire alarm design.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of Fire Alarm System Design experience.

Proficiency in Revit or Autodesk for design and documentation (2 years of Revit experience required).

NICET Level II certification required (Level III is a plus).

Experience in mission-critical facilities preferred.

Knowledge of aspirating smoke detection (VESDA) and clean agent fire suppression systems is a plus.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts.

Ability to commute or relocate to Tempe, AZ (relocation assistance available).

Benefits:

$65k - $105k, dependent on experience.
