Fire Alarm Installation Helper

1st FP Services, LLC is a privately-owned fire protection company that designs, fabricates, installs, maintains, and inspects fire protection systems in commercial & industrial buildings. We have offices located in San Antonio, McAllen, Austin, Waco, Houston, College Station, Lubbock, and Laredo.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Helper to join our growing team. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the installation of commercial fire alarm and life safety systems on new construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, takes pride in quality workmanship.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the install, inspect, service, and maintain fire alarm/life safety systems.


• Ensure compliance with all safety and industry regulations.


• Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings and recommendations to clients.


• Collaborate with team members.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.


• Ability to pass background checks for government projects.


• Strong Core Values (Work-ethic, Responsibility, Integrity, etc)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.


• Comfortable working with heights and confined spaces.
