Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work on fire alarm systems, handling tasks such as programming, commissioning, and providing support to our customers. Your responsibilities will include performing service repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and providing after-hours or emergency service when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform service repairs, maintenance, and upgrades on fire alarm systems.
• Program and commission fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for customers, addressing any issues with their fire alarm systems.
• Respond to after-hours or emergency service calls as needed.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, including NFPA 70 and 72.
• Work with a variety of commercial fire alarm systems.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 2 years experience installing and programming fire alarm systems
• Experience programming systems in commercial buildings.
• Minimum of NICET II (programming experience is a must)
• Experience with Honeywell NOTIFIER a plus
• Knowledge of NFPA standards is a plus (including NFPA 70 and 72).
• Ability to work on ladders and lift equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Frequent use of stairs, climbing, and descending.
