Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking experienced Fire Alarm / Intrusion Technicians to support the installation of fire alarm and intrusion systems on large commercial project sites throughout North Carolina. This role involves hands-on installation of devices and cabling, working primarily day shifts, with regional travel required. Technicians will travel for 2–4 weeks at a time in a company vehicle after completing orientation.

Key Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm and intrusion system devices on large commercial sites
• Pull, route, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling
• Install panels, detectors, pull stations, horn/strobes, and intrusion devices
• Read and follow drawings, layouts, and installation plans
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of installed systems
• Follow all job-site safety policies and procedures
• Maintain clean and professional work areas

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience installing Fire Alarm and/or Intrusion systems
• Experience working on large commercial projects
• Ability to travel regionally within North Carolina for 2–4 weeks at a time
• Ability to work day shifts
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with systems such as Notifier, Simplex, Edwards, Fire-Lite, Bosch, Honeywell, or DSC
• NICET certification (Fire Alarm)
• Experience installing intrusion, security, or access control systems
