Fire Alarm Technician Trainee, Pocatello ID

No experience is necessary, we’ll provide hands-on training for the right person who’s ready to learn, work hard, and grow with us. What You’ll Do:

• Assist with the installation, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems
• Work alongside experienced technicians to learn the trade
• Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized
• Use hand tools and basic power tools
• Load, unload, and organize materials
• Follow safety protocols and complete required paperwork
• Travel occasionally if needed for jobs outside the immediate area

What We’re Looking For:

• No experience required; we’ll train the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, motivation, and a desire to grow with us
• Low voltage experience preferred
• History of longer-term employment in previous positions
• Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic
• Willing to learn and grow in the fire protection industry
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in active construction settings
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs
• Able to kneel, crouch, climb, and work in tight spaces
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Ability to work full shifts on your feet and travel to job sites
