Job Description - Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Apprentice



City Fire and Safety is seeking Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Apprentices! You will work alongside fire alarm and sprinkler technicians. We are looking to train and develop individuals for careers in fire alarm and sprinklers. You will learn how to service and inspect in order to become a Fire Alarm or Sprinkler Technician. Employees are paid WEEKLY.



Responsibilities:



  • Work alongside lead technicians

  • Take notes and record inspections on tablet

  • Communicate effectively with lead technicians

  • Carry equipment to jobsite and take inventory of supplies

  • Organize supplies and job prep

  • Learn terminology, devices, and skills required to become a Fire Alarm or Sprinkler Technician

  • Report to job sites at the required start time

  • Some overnight travel may be required

  • Willingness to learn

  • Ability to use a ladder


Qualifications:



  • Customer skills

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

  • Able to lift at 50lbs

  • Valid drivers license

  • Clean background check and drug test
