Fire Bowl Café Hiring Back of the House Team Member Health Benefits, Weekly Pay, & PTO

We’re looking for Back of House Team Members to join our kitchen teams across our Round Rock, Arbor, Lakeline, and Brodie locations. As a BOH Team Member, you’ll play an essential role in preparing fresh, flavorful meals and keeping our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently.

We’re hiring for line and prep cook positions, including wok and prep, and are open to candidates with or without previous kitchen experience. If you’re dependable, willing to learn, and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and food items according to established recipes and quality standards, including produce, proteins, sauces, garnishes, and other ingredients.
  
  


• Work assigned kitchen stations, including line, prep, and wok, while maintaining proper cooking times, temperatures, portions, and presentation.
  
  


• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen by properly storing ingredients, following sanitation procedures, and cleaning work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  
  


• Keep stations stocked and ready for service by monitoring ingredients and supplies and communicating shortages or needs to the appropriate team member.
  
  


• Support smooth kitchen operations by working efficiently during busy periods, communicating with Front of House and other kitchen team members, and assisting wherever needed.
  
  


• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, temperature control, and FIFO procedures.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
  
  


• Kitchen experience is a plus, but not required; we are willing to consider candidates with little or no previous kitchen experience who are eager to learn.
  
  


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  
  


• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to help coworkers and contribute wherever needed.
  
  


• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, food safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
  
  


• Ability to remain on your feet and actively working throughout the shift and handle the physical demands of a kitchen environment.
  
  


• Flexible availability, including day or night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  
  


• Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain one.
  
  

Schedule & Locations

This is a full-time position with day and night shifts available. Restaurant operating hours are approximately 10:00 AM–9:30 PM. Weekend availability is required.
